We are a church that follows Jesus in serving our neighbors, locally and globally. Here are a few ways we are serving together:
Ongoing need: Collect bags and empty containers. If you have paper grocery bags and reusable plastic containers, you may drop them off at the church office for us to distribute to those who need them. Paper bags are especially needed, but any containers will be helpful!
Participate in the Playhouse Build Blitz on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Habitat for Humanity provides affordable housing and housing-related services to those who need them. Come build, paint, and decorate 25 playhouses that we will distribute to veteran/military families at the end of the day. Transportation, tools, and materials provided. Contact Pasha for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bring food and other supplies to church on Sunday, Nov. 13 for Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week: We will have a table at Family Worship to collect supplies that will be distributed to local community members experiencing homelessness. The exact list of supplies needed will be announced soon. For those who don't bring supplies, we will also write notes of love and encouragement to include in the care packages.
Restore native plant life at 5 Journeys on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.: We will be helping 5 Journeys with their conservation and regeneration efforts. Plan to dig, get dirty, work hard, and enjoy great greenspace not far from campus! Transportation and tools provided. Contact Pasha for more information at email@example.com.
