Our ministries are designed to form us to look like Jesus, prepare us for kingdom work, and cultivate spaces where each person knows they belong. This is how each of our ministry teams contributes to this work — and how you can use your gifts and passions to serve in and through our community.
Technical Our Technical ministry provides audio, visual, and Zoom support to our worship experiences by:
Running A/V for Family Worship (our Sunday morning worship service) and all other church events (e.g., special worship events, fellowship events, workshops, seminars, weddings, funerals, receptions).
Recording sermons and pertinent Bible classes, completing light post-production, and uploading recordings to the church's Youtube channel.
Being trained, and in turn training new team members.
Contact Randy Coppinger at email@example.com for more information and to get involved! Please note that no experience is necessary to join!
Scheduling regular meetings with the Pastoral Care and Oversight Council and the Bookkeeper to ensure strong resonance between the Finance ministry and the spiritual goals and vision of the Council.
Working with church leadership to develop an annual budget.
Generating quarterly financial reports and updating the church leadership and the members.
Collaborating with the Pastoral Care and Oversight Council, Missions (Global Partners) ministry, Benevolence (Local Partners) ministry, Adult Education ministry, and Teaching Cohort to provide teaching and training in financial stewardship.
Seniors Our Seniors ministry contributes to this work by fostering community for those in our church community who are experiencing later-life transitions. For the older members of our Seniors ministry, the roles and responsibilities of this ministry include:
Recognizing and supporting the needs and contributions of our church members who are transitioning to empty nests, grandchildren, and/or retirement.
Communicating regularly with the seniors via group messaging and one-on-one connections.
For the younger members of our Seniors ministry, the roles and responsibilities of this ministry include:
Addressing the needs of senior members as they arise (e.g., providing transportation, running errands, changing lightbulbs, hanging pictures, sharing a cup of coffee or a meal).
